A reserved keyword in MySQL is NULL
. This is used to denote missing values. Suppose a user with the name 'doge'
did not have a hobby. We can add him to the database using the following command:
INSERT INTO info (name, age, hobby) VALUES('doge', 20, NULL);
WARNING
Do not wrap MySQL keywords with quotation marks. Otherwise, they will be treated as a string.
