We can specify the linestyle of a plot using the linestyle parameter of the plot(~) method.

Solid line (default)

x = [1,2,4]

plt.plot(x, y)
plt.show()

Dashed line

x = [1,2,4]
y = [3,3,3]
plt.plot(x, y, linestyle="--")
plt.show()

Dotted line
