Pandas Series.is_monotonic_increasing
property returns True
if the values in the Series are monotonically increasing, and False
otherwise.
Examples
s = pd.Series([2,3])s.is_monotonic_increasing
True
When there is a NaN
, then is_monotonic_increasing
always returns False
:
s = pd.Series([2,np.nan,3])s.is_monotonic_increasing
False
