Python's datetime.utcfromtimestamp(~)
method returns a timezone-naive datetime
object in UTC time from the corresponding POSIX timestamp. If you would like a timezone-aware datetime object returned, use the datetime.fromtimestamp(~)
method.
Parameters
1. POSIX timestamp
| timestamp
The POSIX timestamp for which to return the corresponding datetime
object.
Return value
A naive datetime
object corresponding to the POSIX timestamp.
Examples
from datetime import datetime
#The timestamp we want to convert to a datets = 1573245642
print(datetime.utcfromtimestamp(ts))
2019-11-08 20:40:42
