Adding items to a list in Python
In Python, we can leverage list methods list.append(~), list.extend(~) and list.insert(~) to add items to a list.
Separate from list methods, we can also use operator to combine lists, or use slicing to insert items at specific positions.
Difference between append and extend methods in Python
The append method adds a single object to the end of the list while the extend method adds each element from an iterable to the end of a list.
