expand_more Python's print(~)
method prints the input objects to the screen or other standard output device.
Parameters
1. object(s)
| object
| optional
The object or objects to print to the screen. Multiple objects should be comma separated.
2. sep
| string
| optional
The string to separate printed objects when more than one is provided. Defaults to ' '
.
3. end
| string
| optional
The string to print at the end. Defaults to '\n'
line feed.
4. file
| object
| optional
The stream to write to. Defaults to sys.stdout
.
5. flush
| Boolean
| optional
A boolean indicating whether to flush the output. Defaults to False.
Return value
None
Examples
To print output to a screen:
a = 5print(a)
5
Sep
To use a hyphen (-
) as the separator between printed objects:
print('Hello', 'World', sep='-')
Hello-World
End
To print an exclamation mark at the end:
print('Hello', 'World', end='!')
Hello World!
