Numpy's np.char.isupper(~)
method takes as input an array of strings, and returns a Numpy array of booleans where True
means that all characters of the string are uppercased.
Parameters
1. a
| array-like
The input array of strings.
Return value
A Numpy array of booleans where True
is returned if all characters of the string are uppercased.
Examples
x = np.array(["Ab", "AB", "ab"]) np.char.isupper(x)
array([False, False, True])
Here, True
is returned only for "AB"
since it is the only string with all its characters uppercased.
