Pandas DataFrame.add_suffix(~) appends the specified string to each column label of the DataFrame.

Parameters

1. suffix | string

The string to append to each column label.

Return Value

A new DataFrame with the specified suffix appended to the column labels.

Examples

Consider the following DataFrame:

df = pd.DataFrame({"A":[1,2], "B":[3,4]})
df
A B
0 1 3
1 2 4

To add "C" at the end of each column label:

df.add_suffix("C")
AC BC
0 1 3
1 2 4

Note that the original df is left intact since add_suffix(~) creates a new DataFrame.
