Python's set.pop()
method removes and returns an arbitrary element from the set.
Parameters
set.pop()
does not take any parameters.
Return value
Returns the arbitrary element removed from the set.
Examples
Basic usage
fruits = {'apple','lemon','watermelon'}fruits.pop()
'watermelon'
KeyError
If the set is empty, a TypeError
is raised:
fruits = {}fruits.pop()
TypeError: pop expected at least 1 arguments, got 0
