Python's set.remove(~)
method removes an element from the set. If the element is not present in the set, KeyError
exception is raised .
Parameters
1. elem
| any
The element to be removed from the set.
Return value
None
Examples
Basic usage
colors = {'red','blue'}colors.remove('blue')print(colors)
{'red'}
If the element does not exist in the set, KeyError
exception is raised:
colors = {'red','blue'}colors.remove('green')print(colors)
KeyError: 'green'
