Python's set.add(~) method adds an element to the set. If the element is already present in the set it is not added.
Parameters
1. elem |  any
The element to be added to the set.
Return value
None
Examples
Basic usage
        
        
            
                
                
            
            {'red', 'blue', 'green'}
        
    If the element already exists in the set, nothing is added:
        
        
            
                
                
            
            {'red', 'blue'}
