Python's set.discard(~)
method removes an element from the set. Unlike the set.remove(~)
method, even If the element is not present in the set it will not raise an exception.
Parameters
1. elem
| any
The element to be removed from the set if present.
Return value
None
Examples
Basic usage
To remove 'blue'
from the set:
{'red'}
Even if the element does not exist in the set, no exception is raised:
{'red', 'blue'}
