Python's String.center(~) method returns a string padded left and right with the specified character. Note that the original string is not modified.

Parameters

1. width | number

The length of the string including the padded characters.

2. fillchar | string |optional

The character to be used as padding. By default, fillchar=" " (i.e. a single space).

Return Value

String padded left and right with the specified character.

string = 'Welcome to SkyTowner'

padded_string = string.center(30,'*')

print(padded_string)
