To draw circles in Matplotlib, create a Circle
object and add it into the axis using the add_artist()
method:
# The 0.2 here is the size of the circlec1 = plt.Circle((0, 0), 0.2, color="blue")c2 = plt.Circle((0, 1), 0.3, color="red")ax = plt.gca()ax.add_artist(c1)ax.add_artist(c2)plt.xlim(-2,2)plt.ylim(-2,2)plt.show()
