MySQL's DEGREES(~)
method converts X
radians into degrees and returns it.
Parameters
1. X
| number
The radians to be converted into degrees.
NOTE
π radians equals 180 degrees.
Return value
The input radians converted to degrees.
Examples
To convert 3
radians into degrees:
SELECT DEGREES(3);
+--------------------+| DEGREES(3) |+--------------------+| 171.88733853924697 |+--------------------+
To convert -π
radians into degrees:
SELECT DEGREES(-PI());
+----------------+| DEGREES(-PI()) |+----------------+| -180 |+----------------+
