MySQL's LOG10(~) method returns the value of the base-10 logarithm of X. If we provide an input less than or equal to 0 we will return NULL.
Parameters
1. X | number
The number to return the base-10 logarithm for.
Return value
The value of base-10 logarithm of the input number.
Examples
To return base-10 logarithm of 1000:
SELECT LOG10(1000);
+-------------+| LOG10(1000) |+-------------+| 3 |+-------------+
To return base-10 logarithm of 0:
SELECT LOG10(0);
+----------+| LOG10(0) |+----------+| NULL |+----------+
