MySQL's RADIANS(~) method converts X degrees into radians and returns it.

Parameters

1. X | number

The degrees to be converted into radians.

NOTE

π radians equals 180 degrees.

Return value

The input degrees converted to radians.

Examples

To convert 360 degrees into radians:

SELECT RADIANS(360);
+-------------------+
| RADIANS(360) |
+-------------------+
| 6.283185307179586 |
+-------------------+

To convert 700 degrees into radians:

SELECT RADIANS(700);
