Numpy's asscalar(~)
method converts an array of size one to a scalar.
WARNING
This method has been deprecated since Numpy version 1.16
Use arr.item()
instead, where arr
is your Numpy array.
Parameters
1. a
| array-like
The input array of size one.
Return value
A scalar.
Examples
a = np.array([1.5])np.asscalar(a)
1.5
