NumPy's sign(~) method returns the sign of each value in the input array:

1 corresponds to positive values
0 corresponds to zero
-1 corresponds to negative values

The source NumPy array.

Return value

A NumPy array of integers.

Examples

Suppose we have the following NumPy array:
